OUR PAGEANT

After being crowned, the Titleholders embark on a year unlike anything else, receiving exciting prizes and services, as well as the honor of representing the Greater League City Area in the MISS TEXAS USA® pageant or MISS TEXAS TEEN USA® pageant (subject to meeting all the eligibility requirements). The Titleholder becomes a representative of the pageant for one year, meeting many new people, participating in official charity and social events, potentially appearing on television, and getting the education, experiences and values to help fulfill her future career goals.

THERE IS NO PERFORMING TALENT COMPETITION AND NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.

Entry Fee: $475 AND All Contestants Must Sell at least (1) $250 Program Ad

​

TO QUALIFY:

• Must be a citizen of the United States and will remain a citizen of the United States through the state pageant and, if you win the state pageant, through the national Pageant.

• Must comply with the age requirement for either Miss or Teen division.

• Must represent and warrant that you are a female (recognized medically and legally as a female in the United States).

• (Applies to Miss Texas Teen USA contestants only. This rule does not apply to Miss Texas USA contestants)

• Must never have given birth to a child, cannot be a parent or guardian of any other adult or minor person, and cannot currently be pregnant.
  (Applies to Miss Texas Teen USA contestants only. This rule does not apply to Miss Texas USA contestants)

• Must live in your state permanently and will have lived there for at least three (3) months prior to the date of the pageant – OR – Must be a full time student in your state and will have completed one entire semester or session by December 31st.

• May only compete in one state pageant (including the District of Columbia) per pageant year.

• Must comply with all eligibility requirements outlined in the official contestant entry form.

Teen and Miss Contestants are judged in three equal categories:

• Personal Interviews

• Swimsuit (Miss) / Athletic Wear (Teen)

• Evening Gown

 

You must provide your competition wardrobe. Sponsors are a wonderful way to help you with your expenses!

The Miss League City Pageant is looking for ambassadors to represent not only the City of League City, but the Greater Houston / Bay Area and the state of Texas. The winners may not score the highest in any one particular category but will do well in all of the categories throughout the pageant weekend. They will be young women who possess the entire package of poise, personality, intelligence and beauty. They should understand that, along with the prizes and glamour, there comes a responsibility to the pageant system, incredible sponsors, the community, and beyond. Pageant judges spend time with each delegate to learn about her successes, talents, goals and ambitions. Attention is focused on her poise, charm, self-confidence and her ability to communicate, as well as the substance of her answers.

In addition to choosing the new MISS LEAGUE CITY and MISS LEAGUE CITY TEEN,

other awards to be presented (in each age group) are:

• Miss Photogenic (to be selected from photos in the program book and in-person judging)

• Interview

• Evening Gown Winner (to be announced during the Final Show)

• Teen: Athletic Wear Winner (to be announced during the Preliminary Show)

• Miss: Swimsuit Winner (to be announced during the Preliminary Show)

• JuCan Spirit Award (Miss Congeniality)
  (to be announced during Final Show & selected by the contestants)
